Ed McMahon is the Senior Resident Fellow with the Urban Land Institute. Ed holds the Charles E. Fraser Chair on Sustainable Development at the Urban Land Institute in Washington, DC where he is nationally knows as an inspiring speaker and leading authority on economic development and land use policies and trends. McMahon spent 14 years as the Vice President and Director of Land Use Programs for The Conservation Fund, where he directed the American Greenways Program and helped to purchase and protect more than 5 million acres of land of historic or natural significance.
