Ed McMahon

Ed McMahon is the Senior Resident Fellow with the Urban Land Institute. Ed holds the Charles E. Fraser Chair on Sustainable Development at the Urban Land Institute in Washington, DC where he is nationally knows as an inspiring speaker and leading authority on economic development and land use policies and trends. McMahon spent 14 years as the Vice President and Director of Land Use Programs for The Conservation Fund, where he directed the American Greenways Program and helped to purchase and protect more than 5 million acres of land of historic or natural significance. 

Peter Kageyama

Peter Kageyama is the author of For the Love of Cities: The Love Affair Between People and Their Places and the follow up, Love Where You Love: Creating Emotionally Engaging Places. Peter is a Senior Fellowship with the Alliance for Innovation, a national network of city leaders that is dedicated to improving the practice of local governments. He is internationally sough-after community development consultant and grassroots engagement strategist who speaks all over the world about bottom-up community development and the amazing people who are making change happen.
